Ten years ago, the residents of Varistown and the surrounding areas were evacuated due to hazardous and unexplained phenomena including toxic and physics- defying environments emerging from seemingly nowhere and nothing.  From this strange and otherwordly atmosphere emerged value-  despite the harrowing danger and risk, scavengers, urban explorers, and rogue scientists all flocked to the Varistown area in order to study the effects, take samples, and report back to the outside world.  Despite this, it is highly illegal to enter the affected area; local authorities patrol the perimeter arresting or shooting anyone trying to enter the derelict wastes full of unnatural wonders and unimaginable peril.
